We are delighted to have completed an installation at Sandy Lane Yacht Club, one of the World's most exclusive resorts, on Canouan; a small island in the Caribbean archipelago nation of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
The court was engineered by AFP in Barcelona to withstand winds of 260 km per hour and hot dip galvanised for maximum corrosion resistance, essential for an exposed coastal location that can experience tropical storms.
AFP finished the court lighting columns and net posts using the pink of the SLYC brand, producing a genuinely bespoke fabrication to create truly unique courts.
This is a stunning but challenging location, with unpredictable weather and extreme environmental conditions, it's remote location hampering logistics and limiting available resources and equipment. Few installers could successfully complete a padel court, especially not to the standard to which we hold ourselves at Padel Tech.
